Get Ready: We're less than two weeks away!

Each year, we start Monterey Car Week with our Classic Motorsports Monterey Kickoff presented by Sunoco, and each year the show seems to grow bigger. Thank you for your support — we couldn’t do this event without you, and we’re so excited to see you there.

If you are currently registered and confirmed for the Monterey Kickoff, keep a look out for your entry packet in the mail.  We have also emailed you instructions for the day-of, including what to do if your packet doesn’t arrive in the mail.

Spectators and participants: please do not arrive at the Monterey Kickoff early. Any cars arriving before the show begins will be turned away, and all parked cars on Lighthouse Ave. (even those with entry passes) will be towed. Plan to arrive at the Monterey Kickoff no earlier than 12:30 pm. Volunteers are the only exception to this rule.

Volunteers: If you are registered as a volunteer, you have been sent an email with day-of instructions. If you are reading this and would like to be one of our volunteers, we still have room for a few more. Click here to learn more and sign up.

At 1:00 pm., the show gates will close and all traffic on Lighthouse Ave. will stop. Judging will begin at 1:30 pm, and awards will be announced at the Classic Motorsports stage at 4:00 pm. Winners must be present to accept their awards. This schedule is subject to change, and you can always view a current version here: montereykickoff.com/schedule

Want to see the show without a car? Spectator entry is free — just walk right in, with no registration required. There is no official spectator parking, so we recommend they carpool in your show vehicle or take advantage of Pacific Grove’s public parking lots.

Thanks to support from Sunoco, Moss MotorsCenterline InternationalNational Parts Depot, Mecum Auctions, Reliable Carriers, Frontline Cars, Griot’s Garage, The Monarch Pub, Habitat for Humanity Monterey Bay and of course the city of Pacific Grove for making this event possible.
